David Ford, L.Ac. believes that Taoist, wilderness-based 5-element acupuncture is the shamanic branch of Oriental medicine. And the five elements can be best understood by experiencing the natural world first-hand. He offers a range of learning experiences that help people nourish their lives with nature’s wisdom, and assist acupuncturists in cultivating the 5-element approach in their practice.

Through multi-day wilderness adventures on an island near Glacier Bay, Alaska, you will deepen your understanding of:

Each point has a name with spiritual, physical and emotional qualities. Through this four-part series, you will:
Learn the essence of the major points on the 14 meridians
Expand your clinical tools to promote greater healing in your clients
David Ford will bring you experientially into the points and the medicine through a wide range of photographs that express his deep natural understanding.

Observe with licensed practioners as they evaluate and treat patients. This will assist you to hone your diagnostics and treatment approach through real-life cases. Available internationally, upon request.
